Toby Wing Sofa
More than just a sofa.
The sliding backs and the sliding arms allow a considerable increase of the seating area so as to make the Toby wing a real “day bed”.
Like two proper wings, the backrests and the arms of the Toby Wing can spread to offer unique moments of pure relax. The back sections slid backwards increase the seat depth of 42 cm whereas the sideways moving arms once extended, increase the seat width of 25 cm. The Toby wing becomes a unique place, an island where to rest, dream, taking a break in full comfort.
Moreover, it can be somehow customised by choosing the maxi chaise longue, where two people can comfortably share precious moments together.
Available both with corner and chaise longue versions, this model represents an extremely versatile solution, yet keeping a light and uplifted structure, thanks to the tiny metal feet, available in several different finishes. The latest edition is the version with feet in methacrylate resin that gives an extra feeling of lightness and modern flair thanks to its transparency.
In the model Toby Wing you also have the option of choosing the fully removable cover so as to combine elegance with a great practicality.
The versatility of the Toby wing is further enhanced by the corner versions. On the versions with static corner, cover removability is not available and the back structure has a different height which creates a pleasant asymmetry and gives further lightness to the model. Scatter cushions on the corner section not only add comfort but also represent the decorative elements for a modern and fancier design structure. The corner version with sliding back sections allows full use of its surface. The Toby wing with all back sectional slid backwards offers a generous seating area which looks like a shelter island for the entire family.
An element that gives additional lightness to the Toby wing, is undoubtedly the thin metal foot available in titanium, satinated, shiny and Graubraun finish. Absolute novelty, is the methacrylate resin foot that lightens the structure thanks to its transparency giving the illusion the Toby Wing is actually floating in the air.

Structure: pinewood, multilayer and plywood covered with polyurethane foam covered with 100% polyester padding. Backrests and armrests rest on a metal mechanism*.

Sewing: leather coverings feasible with contrast stitching in the colors available; cuts and sewing vary on microfiber (or fabric) coverings.
Mechanisms: *the model is equipped with backrests and armrests that can be manually adjusted (except for version B37), so that the seat depth can be increased by 42 cm and the seat width can be increased by 25 cm per armrest side. The total depth of the model with backrests positioned outward is 141 cm, the opening range of the armrest positioned outward is 25 cm. Version AC7/AC8 is equipped only with n. 1 backrest that can be manually adjusted, all the backrests on version 043/044 can be manually adjusted.
Standard feet: metal PM2121, h. 17.5 cm, in satinized finish. Alternatively, it is possible to choose among the standard or "special" finishes available on the sample book. Some versions may be equipped with hidden feet with a supporting structural function.
Optional feet: upon request and with a price surcharge indicated on the pricelist, the model is available with transparent methacrylate optional feet (PM2122), h. 17.5 cm. Some versions may be equipped with hidden feet with a supporting structural function.
Optional versions: pillow (661), small square pillow (E67) and armrest pillow (683) in fiber (synthetic fiberfill). Comfort headrest element (F55) in polyurethane foam covered with 100% polyester layer, supported by a shiny metal structure.
Please note: for a better comfort experience, the use of versions pillow (661) and small square pillow (E67) on versions B37, AC7/AC8 is recommended. -
